How can I free up space on my local disk?

Hey everyone, I'm working on freeing up space on my local disk but I'm confused about what's actually taking up the space. According to my Windows storage settings, the installed apps seem to be using 68.8 GB, but I suspect that's not accurate since I believe there are only about 8 GB worth of apps installed on the computer. I've already cleaned out all the temporary files, but it barely made any difference. What other things should I look into deleting to reclaim some space? I appreciate any suggestions!

You could also consider downloading BleachBit to help with cleaning up unnecessary files. It can really make a difference!

Don't forget to enable the option to view hidden files in your file explorer. You might find some bulky files that you usually can't see!

If you're using Docker, check if you have any old images using up space. They can accumulate quickly and take up valuable disk space!

You might want to check your User Profiles; they can often take up a lot of unexpected space. Just make sure to investigate what's really in there!

Try using a tool like TreeSize or WizTree to scan your disk and see what's actually eating up all that space. They provide a clear layout of the files and their sizes.

Yeah, those tools are great! I recommend WizTree as well—super handy for getting a quick overview!
