Hey everyone, I just finished building my new PC and I'm having trouble getting Windows to boot. Here are the specs:
* **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
* **CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Peerless Assassin 140
* **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7
* **RAM:** Crucial 32GB DDR5-6000 (2×16GB)
* **GPU:** ASUS GeForce RTX 5070 Ti PRIME
* **Storage:** Crucial T500 2TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD
* **Power Supply:** XPG Core Reactor II VE 850W
* **Case:** Light base 500 LX
* **Boot Device:** Sandisc 64GB USB (bought 2 months ago)
The PC powers on and everything seems fine in BIOS—it's recognizing the NVMe and RAM is at 5600 MHz. However, when I try to boot from the USB to install Windows, it freezes right after entering the product key or even before that. I managed to get as far as selecting the NVMe for the install, then it crashed.
I've swapped USB ports, disabled some boost functions in BIOS, and even wiped the NVMe, but the freezing issue persists. The USB stick warms up but still works on my old PC, so I'm unsure if it's the cause.
I'm planning to make a fresh boot USB tomorrow, but I'm wondering if anyone has any insights or similar experiences. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried reseating all your components? I’d recommend checking the CPU, RAM, SSD, and GPU just to make sure they’re snug in their slots. If that doesn’t work, run a memtest86+ test on your RAM to rule it out.
If all else fails and it still freezes, you might want to install a Linux distribution just to see if your system boots successfully. It can help determine if the issue is with Windows or the hardware.
It sounds like your installation media might be the problem. Try remaking your USB drive using Rufus; it's a good tool for creating bootable drives. Let me know if that changes anything!
Using a different USB flash drive to create your Windows 11 installation media could help, too. Sometimes it's just a compatibility issue with the drive you’re using.
