What fun stuff can I use on my old laptop without WiFi?

I'm looking for some cool things to run on my old Windows 10 laptop since it doesn't have WiFi access at my grandpa's place—I'll have to go to the library or a coffee shop for that. It's been upgraded from Windows 8 but can't handle Windows 11 anymore, and it's kind of slow. Any suggestions for games or software that I can run offline?

You should check out old games like Pokémon or Mario on DS or Game Boy; just grab the emulators and ROMs while you're at the library. Perfect for offline fun!

Honestly, there's a bunch of stuff you can run offline: Ultrakill, Cult of the Lamb, Minesweeper, most N64 ROMs, and any GBA or NES ROMs. Plus, downloading some movies is an option as well!

Thanks for the tips! I’ll definitely look into those ROMs and see what I can find.

I mainly use my old laptop for note-taking since software like Microsoft Word doesn’t need an internet connection. You’ll also find several cool text editors, spreadsheets, and even music apps that work just fine on older PCs. Oh, and there's also a Tidal version that runs well on it!

You could try using it for retro video game emulators! They often run well on older systems and can bring back some great memories.
