Why is my Windows 11 acting up even after a system reset?

Lately, my Windows 11 computer has been acting strangely. I can't open any programs, even though they show up as running in the task manager. Attempting to close them doesn't work either. When I try to save or open images, Windows Explorer crashes. Restarting the computer causes it to hang indefinitely, forcing me to perform a hard shutdown. Everything seems fine right after a reboot, but the problems return after some hours or overnight. I've already done a full reset of Windows through system restore, run 'sfc scannow', and completed a disk check, but all utilities report that everything is okay. I'm out of ideas and seeking help before resorting to a complete wipe of my system and drives.

It's important to remember that a factory reset isn't the same as a complete OS reinstall. You might want to look into doing a proper reinstall to see if that resolves the issue. Google some guides on how to do it correctly. You could also check your BIOS settings to see if that helps.

I think you should pay attention to your SSD health. If you're using an old SSD, it might be failing and causing these problems. Consider replacing it, as a new SSD could solve your issues altogether.

That advice might not hit the mark. From what I understand, the OP hasn't actually reinstalled the OS yet. It's critical to clarify what actions have been taken before jumping to conclusions about hardware.
