I installed CrystalDiskMark and noticed that the installer began adding several extra components separately, including something described as a controller. I canceled some of the installations, but I'm worried that part of the bundled software may still have been installed. I already removed a program called Estart, which appeared to be associated with the download. Does anyone know what else the installer may add and how I can check that my system is clean?

Estart appears to be the unwanted bundled program in this case. Check Installed Apps and your browser extensions for anything added around the same time, then uninstall anything unfamiliar. Running a scan with Windows Security or another reputable anti-malware tool is also a good precaution.

I removed Estart already, and I’m checking for anything else that may have been installed.
