I wrote down the license plate number of someone who robbed me, but the note doesn't appear to have saved. I've checked my iCloud notes backup and the deleted notes folder, and it isn't anywhere else I remember writing it. Is there any way to recover the missing note? I was only able to give the police part of the plate number.

If the note was never saved or synced, there may not be a way to recover it through the Notes app. You could still check recently deleted notes, other synced accounts, and any device backups from before it disappeared. Since you gave the police part of the plate along with the car’s color and type, they may be able to narrow down the vehicle.
