Is This €2500 Gaming PC Build Overspending?

I'm putting together a gaming PC in the Netherlands with a budget of roughly €2,500. I'm fairly committed to the graphics card, memory, and SSD, but I suspect I'm overspending on some of the other parts. Could you review the build and suggest better-value alternatives? The system will be used primarily for gaming rather than productivity work.

Since this is mainly a gaming system, the biggest question is whether the less essential parts are adding performance that you’ll actually notice. Keep the GPU, RAM, and SSD if you’re happy with them, but compare prices on the motherboard, cooler, case, and power supply before spending the full budget.

Double-check the SSD price manually instead of relying only on the parts-list price feed. The listed deal may be outdated, and the 2 TB version with a heatsink appears to be around €670 directly, which is extremely expensive. If that is the real price, there should be much better-value high-end or midrange NVMe options.

The power supply looks like a poor-value choice. A quality 850 W Platinum fully modular unit, such as the Lian Li SX0850P, may offer a better price-to-quality balance than the current RMe model. Just make sure the replacement has the right modern GPU power connector and sufficient capacity.
