I'm trying to modify my game files on Pop!_OS, but I'm having trouble opening the local directory. I may be looking for the hidden `.local` folder, and I'm not sure how to access it either through the file manager or from a terminal. What's the simplest way to open this directory?

Nautilus should be able to open any directory you have permission to access. If the folder exists but isn’t visible, enable the file manager’s hidden-file setting first. You can also press Ctrl+L, enter `~/.local`, and press Enter to navigate there directly.
You can usually right-click inside the file manager and choose “Open in Terminal” or “Open Terminal Here.” If that option isn’t available, another file manager such as Thunar may provide it. Once the terminal is open, use `cd` followed by the directory path.
If you mean `~/.local`, it’s hidden because its name starts with a dot. In most file managers, press Ctrl+H to show hidden files, then open your home folder and go into `.local`. You can also open it directly from a terminal with `cd ~/.local`.
