I'm using Linux Mint and have two issues. First, the software manager shows packages called "VirtualBox" and "VirtualBox Base," and I'm not sure which one I'm supposed to install. Second, whenever I launch Blender, its window moves far to the right and ends up partially or completely off-screen. How can I bring it back and stop that from happening?

For Blender, try focusing the window and pressing Alt+F7, then use the arrow keys or move the mouse to bring it back onto the screen. Press Enter when it’s in the right place. You can also try Alt+F10 to maximize it. If it keeps opening off-screen, reset Blender’s window-position settings or check whether Mint thinks you have a second monitor connected.
Install the main “VirtualBox” package. The base package is a supporting component that gets installed as a dependency, so you normally shouldn’t choose it by itself. If Mint offers a complete VirtualBox package, that’s the one to use.
I’m using Mint, so I’ll try the window shortcut first and check the display settings if it happens again.
