I recently earned an AI certification called CCAF for Claude. I understand the basic concepts now, but I'm unsure how to turn that knowledge into career value. Would building a personal project demonstrate useful skills? If so, can I include that project on my resume, and would it actually help employers take my application more seriously?

A certification by itself usually won’t carry much weight unless it connects to practical work. Build something genuinely useful that you can explain in detail—what problem it solves, what you designed yourself, how you evaluated the results, and what limitations it has. Then list it on your resume as a project with a link to a demo or code repository. Simply saying that an AI tool generated a project, or that you know how to use a basic interface, is unlikely to impress employers.
The project should show your own decisions and technical contribution, not just that you can ask an AI assistant to produce something. A small, working project with clear documentation is better than a flashy but shallow one.
