How to Set Up Apple Care for My Daughter’s New Phone?

I'm getting a new phone for my daughter and I want to make sure I can get Apple Care for it, ideally on a monthly payment plan. My other daughter has my old iPhone, and the Apple Care for that is still charged to my account, even though it's linked to her. I want to do something similar for this new phone. Should I set it up under my account to start, add Apple Care, and then wipe it for her? Is there an easier way to manage this? Also, I'd prefer to keep my credit card off her Apple ID, so she can use her own debit card for purchases.

You can just log into your Apple account on her new phone, subscribe to Apple Care+, and then log out. This should work without any need for setting up Apple Pay or anything else. That's how I handle it for my devices!

So just to confirm, I can sign in as if it's my phone first, get the Apple Care, and then wipe it? That's easy enough!
