My desktop PC occasionally picks up radio-like signals through headphones connected to the headphone jack. At the same time, my wireless mouse—and sometimes my wired keyboard—stops responding, so both problems always happen together. I'm trying to figure out whether this points to an electrical grounding issue, interference, or a problem with the computer's power or USB system. What should I test first?

Since the headphones are connected through the analog jack rather than USB or Bluetooth, the noise may be coming from electrical interference or a grounding problem. The simultaneous USB failures suggest something more significant than ordinary radio interference—possibly a bad power strip, unstable power supply, motherboard issue, or a loose connection. Try a different wall outlet and power strip, disconnect unnecessary USB devices, and test with another pair of headphones. If the problem changes when you move the headphone cable or USB receiver, that can help narrow it down. Also try the mouse receiver in a rear motherboard USB port instead of a front-panel port.
The quickest test would be another outlet and another set of headphones. If both issues still happen together, I’d check the PC’s power supply and motherboard USB connections rather than assuming it’s just wireless interference.
