I'm planning to sell my gaming PC on Facebook Marketplace to help fund a newer build. I've owned it for about six months, it works reliably, and it runs most games at decent FPS. The system started as an older OptiPlex, but I've upgraded nearly everything. Its current specifications are an Intel i7-4790, Radeon RX 580 8GB, 16GB of RAM, a 476GB SSD, a 1TB hard drive, and a Corsair CX600M power supply. What would be a realistic asking price?

Parting it out may bring in more money: roughly $50 for the RX 580, around $60 for the SSD and hard drive if they’re in good condition, and another $70–$80 for the case and power supply. The older motherboard, CPU, and RAM may be harder to sell separately.
Realistically, probably around $100–$150 as a complete system. The DDR3 platform and older i7 limit the value, even though the RX 580 can still handle a lot of games. You could list it a little higher and expect buyers to negotiate.
You might get close to $180–$200 if the case is clean and both drives are healthy, but I wouldn’t expect much more than that. It could also be worth keeping as a basic home server or backup gaming PC.
