What parts should I pair with an i9-12900K for a long-lasting gaming PC?

I'm planning my first desktop build in about 6–12 months and already own an Intel i9-12900K that I won at an event in 2021. My current seven-year-old gaming laptop handles Counter-Strike and Rocket League at around 100 FPS on medium settings, but it struggles with Minecraft shaders and heavily modded servers. Since I no longer need a portable computer, I'd like to build a desktop that can last roughly 5–10 years without frequent upgrades.

I'm aiming for at least 200 FPS in Counter-Strike and Rocket League, 60+ FPS in Minecraft with decent shaders, and playable performance in Cities: Skylines with mods. I may also use ArcGIS Pro or QGIS for work in the future. I don't plan to overclock, and I prefer quiet, straightforward air cooling rather than liquid cooling.

I'm not very experienced with PC parts. My current list is over $2,000 before adding the motherboard and power supply, which feels excessive for my needs. I'd like to keep the total cost reasonable while still choosing reliable parts that make sense alongside the 12900K. The total budget, including monitors and a keyboard, is at least around $1,000, but I'm willing to save longer if necessary and mainly want to avoid paying for performance I won't use.

I also need plenty of connectivity: at least two front USB ports plus USB-C, preferably four front USB ports, and around four rear USB ports for wired peripherals. I'll be using Windows 11. What components would you recommend, and are there better-value alternatives to the parts in my current list?
