I'm in the process of building a new PC and I'm faced with a tough choice between 32GB CL30 6000MHz RAM and 64GB CL36 6000MHz RAM. The 32GB option has a latency of 10 ns, while the 64GB option has a latency of 12 ns. I primarily use my PC for local LLM work, fine-tuning, and gaming. Which RAM size would be the better choice for my needs?

For gaming and basic local LLM tasks, 32GB of RAM is generally sufficient. Most games run well with this amount, unless you're diving into heavy simulations like flight sims. If gaming is your main focus, you should lean towards the 32GB option, they say it strikes a good balance.
But what about the future? Wouldn't having 64GB be smarter for long-term use?
