Should I upgrade from a 5060 Ti to a 9070 XT for $892 before switching to 1440p?

I’d keep the 5060 Ti for now. A 1440p monitor doesn’t automatically require an upgrade, and you can always replace the card later if performance is actually disappointing. Waiting for the next generation would likely give you a more meaningful upgrade than changing cards within the same generation.

I’d buy the monitor first and see how the 5060 Ti handles your games at 1440p. It’s still capable at that resolution, especially with upscaling and frame-generation features. Also make sure your CPU won’t bottleneck a faster graphics card. At nearly $900, the 9070 XT sounds overpriced unless that price is in a different currency or local supply is unusually expensive.
