I'm looking at pairing DDR5-5200 memory with a Ryzen 7 9700X, but different websites give conflicting information about whether that speed is supported. Will it work, and is there a better memory speed I should consider?

Yes, DDR5-5200 will work with the Ryzen 7 9700X. AMD’s official maximum supported memory speed is DDR5-5600, so 5200 is within the supported range.
It’s compatible, but it may not be the ideal choice if the price difference is small. A reasonably priced DDR5-6000 kit is often a better target for a Ryzen 7000 or 9000-series build, provided the motherboard and memory kit run it reliably.
Would it make more sense to choose a faster processor now and upgrade the memory later?

So is 5600 the maximum officially supported speed, rather than the minimum?
