Don’t build this system around a single 16GB stick if you can avoid it. One stick runs the memory in single-channel mode and can noticeably hurt minimum frame rates and overall performance. A matched 2x16GB DDR5-6000 kit would be the better target for a gaming build, and 32GB gives you much more breathing room for current games and background apps.
The NVMe drive is a good choice for Windows and games, but the 5400 RPM hard drive will feel very slow for loading games. You can keep it for bulk storage, recordings, or backups, but install frequently played games on the SSD. Also double-check the motherboard and CPU bundle carefully: the 7600X uses AM5, so the board must support it with the appropriate BIOS.
Reusing only the case makes sense, since nine-year-old components generally aren’t worth carrying over into a modern build. The main thing to verify is that the graphics card fits with the front fans installed and that the Hyper 212 includes the correct AM5 mounting hardware. The 750W power supply should be a reasonable match for this CPU and GPU, assuming the card manufacturer’s requirements agree.
