I'm trying to get ChatGPT to memorize something I told it, and it responded that it updated saved memories. However, when I check the memory section, nothing appears there. Is this a glitch or something? Can anyone offer some help? Thanks!

Hey! It's possible that you're just running into one of those common issues. Sometimes ChatGPT just doesn’t save memories correctly due to a glitch. You might want to try saving it again and then check later to see if it appeared. If it keeps happening, it might be worth reaching out to support.

Good point! It might also help to check the memory status to see if it’s filled up, as that can prevent new memories from saving.

Just so you know, while ChatGPT can mention memory features, it sometimes gets things a bit mixed up. What you actually need to do is go into the memory panel and manually input the data you want it to remember. It's not as automated as it may sound.

That’s interesting! I thought the feature was supposed to work automatically. Thanks for the clarification!
