The RX 9060 XT 16GB is a solid card and should outperform a standard PS5, especially when you use higher settings or frame rates. It also has enough VRAM for modern games and gives you access to newer upscaling features such as FSR 4. At native 4K, though, you’ll usually need upscaling and possibly reduced settings to maintain smooth performance.
The graphics card is reasonable, but the memory price stands out much more than the GPU choice. €520 for 32GB of DDR5 is extremely expensive unless local pricing is unusually high. I’d try to find a cheaper 2x16GB DDR5 kit and put the savings toward a faster GPU, since that would matter more for 4K gaming. Your existing SSD also makes the overall budget easier to manage.
The main issue is your monitor. The 9060 XT makes sense for 1080p or 1440p, but a 4K high-refresh display can demand much more GPU power. If you want to take full advantage of that screen, look at something in the RX 9070 XT class or higher. Otherwise, the 9060 XT is still perfectly usable if you’re comfortable with upscaling and adjusted settings.
