Why do CapFrameX and RivaTuner Sometimes Show NaN for FPS and Stutter Metrics?

I use CapFrameX together with RivaTuner Statistics Server to display an in-game OSD. Most CPU and GPU metrics appear correctly, but sometimes the FPS and stutter-related values show up as "NaN" instead. Restarting the computer occasionally fixes it, although other people seem to use the same setup without this problem. I'm currently using CapFrameX 1.8.3 and RivaTuner Statistics Server 7.3.7.

Which versions of CapFrameX and RivaTuner Statistics Server are you running? Version mismatches or an outdated CapFrameX release could be relevant when only the frame-time and stutter metrics fail while the hardware sensors continue working.

I believe I’m using CapFrameX 1.8.3, which is one release behind the latest version, and RivaTuner Statistics Server 7.3.7, which should still be current.
