The VE versions may still be worth considering. They’re also well-rated, and the differences from the regular Core Reactor II may not matter for your build. If the exact model is unavailable, comparing the specifications and warranty is probably more useful than waiting for one specific listing.
For European pricing, check several established retailers and compare models by tier rather than brand alone. Some alternatives can offer similar quality for much less: for example, an NZXT C750 Core may be around €85, while a comparable Seasonic model can cost roughly €110 and a Corsair RM750x considerably more. Just verify that the unit has the required ATX standard, enough PCIe connections, and a suitable warranty.
You probably don’t need to stick to that exact model. A comparable 750W unit from Seasonic, Corsair, NZXT, or another reputable brand should work just as well, especially if it has the efficiency rating, protections, and connectors you need.
I looked into alternatives and the Seasonic Focus GX ATX 3.0 seems to match what I need, so I’m going with that instead. Thanks for the suggestion.
After doing more research, I realised the XPG model wasn’t actually the best fit for what I wanted. You’re right that there aren’t many meaningful differences between the versions.
