I'm looking for a replacement for SolarWinds Serv-U. The key requirements are Active Directory integration and a browser-based HTTPS interface where users can upload and download files. Some teams replace this kind of workflow with OneDrive links, but that only makes sense if you already want to standardize on OneDrive and its sharing model. It may not be a good fit if the goal is to keep a dedicated file-transfer portal.

It sounds like the most important part is the web portal: users need to access it remotely, transfer files in either direction, and see folders backed by existing Windows shares. I’d compare products specifically on AD or LDAP support, permissions mapping, share access, auditing, and whether the HTTPS client is included in the base license.
That’s my concern too. If the cost and licensing model are basically the same, I’d need a stronger feature or support advantage to justify switching.
