I'm worried something may be wrong with my computer. When I started it, OneDrive reported that a file name wasn't allowed and displayed some Chinese characters. Clicking "Rename" did nothing, and when I opened the notification, the computer briefly glitched before the alert disappeared. OneDrive is now unable to sync. What should I check or try first?

OneDrive itself isn’t malware just because it came preinstalled, and removing it isn’t a useful first step. The message may be caused by a filename that contains characters OneDrive doesn’t support, or by file-system corruption. Check the exact file name and location, run a reputable malware scan, and check the drive for errors before deciding whether to reinstall or unlink OneDrive.
Start by checking the drive for file-system errors. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run `chkdsk /f`. Windows may ask to schedule the scan for the next restart; accept that and let it finish. Make sure important files are backed up first, since disk errors can sometimes indicate a failing drive.
