I'm buying the parts in Poland and want to build a new gaming PC focused entirely on performance. I already have a Full HD 240 Hz monitor, Windows, and peripherals, so the budget is for the PC itself. My current 32 GB DDR4-3200 kit and 1 TB XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro NVMe SSD could be reused, although I'm unsure whether moving to DDR5 would provide enough benefit to justify the extra cost. I strongly prefer AMD processors and graphics cards, but I'm willing to exceed the roughly $2,000 budget if the performance improvement is worthwhile. What parts would you recommend?

For a performance-focused AMD build, you could look at a Ryzen 5 5600X, 5700X, or 5800XT paired with an RX 9070 XT 16 GB, or the slightly less expensive RX 9070 16 GB. A B450 or B550 motherboard, a quality 750–850 W 80+ Gold power supply, a capable air cooler such as the Thermalright Peerless Assassin, and a case with decent airflow—using fans like the Arctic P12—would round it out. Since you already have DDR4 memory and an NVMe drive, reusing them could leave more of the budget for the graphics card.
I already have a B450 A-Pro motherboard. I assumed it wouldn’t work with newer components. Is the main compatibility issue the move to DDR5, or are there other limitations I should know about?
