I'm choosing between the Gigabyte RTX 5070 Gaming OC and the RTX 5070 Aorus Master, with the Aorus Master costing about $35 extra. Is the larger cooler, potentially lower noise, appearance, and extra features worth the price difference, or should I just buy the cheaper Gaming OC?

I’d personally get the Gaming OC unless you plan to tune the card or specifically want the Aorus Master’s cooler and appearance. A beefier cooler can reduce fan speeds, but if you aren’t tweaking settings and the reviews don’t show a clear noise advantage, there’s no strong technical reason to pay more.
The Aorus Master has a larger cooler and some extra features, including an LCD display, so $35 is not an unreasonable upgrade if you care about a quieter card or like the design. It may be one of the better-equipped 5070 models, but it won’t deliver a major gaming performance increase over the Gaming OC.
Both cards are still RTX 5070s, so performance differences should be very small. The Gaming OC’s factory overclock isn’t something you can’t replicate yourself, so the extra money mainly goes toward the cooler, design, lighting, and features. If those don’t matter to you, save the $35.
I’d compare independent reviews, especially for noise, GPU temperature, and memory temperature. The clock speeds probably won’t make a meaningful difference, but a stronger cooler could let the Aorus Master run quieter at the same temperature. If the reviews show only a tiny gap, the cheaper card is the better value.
Noise is probably my main concern, so I’ll focus on fan noise and temperatures rather than the advertised boost clock.
