Telegram is stuck on "Connecting…" on my phone, and reinstalling it hasn't helped because I still can't log in. The desktop website also won't load and says the page can't be reached, even though my internet connection is working normally. Is Telegram experiencing an outage, or is there something else I should try?

You could try Telegram X, the alternative official app. It may connect even when the main app is stuck on “Connecting,” although its interface looks a little different.

It sounds like a regional Telegram outage rather than a problem with your phone. Someone else in Kazakhstan reported the same issue, so the service may be having connection problems in that area.
