I recently got my first gaming PC and have been using it for a few days. While gaming, my temperatures usually stay around 35–45°C. Is that a healthy range, or should I be concerned? My system has an NVIDIA RTX 3050, an AMD Ryzen 5 8400F, and five case fans, with room for another. Idle temperatures are around 27–31°C. Even after playing Red Dead Redemption for several hours, the temperature only reached about 47°C.

Your PC is running extremely cool. The temperatures may be helped by your air conditioning, and the RTX 3050 and Ryzen 5 8400F may not be working especially hard in the games you’re playing. Idle temperatures around 27–31°C are also perfectly normal.
Even reaching around 47°C after several hours of gaming is excellent. You don’t need to add another fan unless you notice airflow problems, rising temperatures, or excessive noise. Just make sure the existing fans are positioned for sensible front-to-back airflow.
Those temperatures are excellent. For most PC components, gaming temperatures under roughly 80–85°C are generally considered safe, so 35–45°C is nowhere near a problem.
