I'm using an Intel i5-12400F, an RX 6700 XT with 12 GB of VRAM, 32 GB of DDR4 memory, and an MSI G255F 1080p monitor. Games look extremely blurry, and I'm not sure what's causing it. Check that each game is actually rendering at your monitor’s native 1920×1080 resolution and that the render scale is set to 100%. Also look for TAA, dynamic resolution, or an upscaler such as FSR—those can make the image look soft if the quality preset or resolution scale is too low. Turning off motion blur and lowering or disabling aggressive anti-aliasing may help too.
1080p can look less sharp than higher resolutions, especially on a larger display, but it shouldn’t look severely blurry. In the monitor and graphics-driver settings, make sure the display is running at its native resolution and that any image-sharpening or scaling option isn’t set incorrectly. It’s also worth trying a different DisplayPort or HDMI cable and checking whether the desktop itself looks blurry.
