What AM4 motherboard would be a worthwhile upgrade from a Gigabyte Gaming X V2?

I'm considering replacing my Gigabyte Gaming X V2 (revision 1.3) with a better AM4 motherboard. I don't strictly need an upgrade, but this board feels limited in areas such as the number of available fan headers. I'm also wondering whether it could be contributing to unusually high CPU temperature readings, since my Ryzen 7 5800X idles above 60°C even after cleaning the system and replacing the thermal paste. New B550 boards are difficult to find in my country, so I'm open to buying a suitable model secondhand. What motherboard would be a meaningful upgrade, and could the current board really be responsible for these temperatures?
