I'm getting back into PC building after putting together a system in 2020, and I'd appreciate a second opinion before committing to an expensive upgrade. This build is mainly for gaming, with some occasional 3D-printing work and general video streaming.

- GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

- CPU cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE
- Case: Montech AIR 903 Max
The CPU, memory, and motherboard are available as a bundle for around $900. Does this look well-balanced for gaming, and are there any compatibility, value, or cooling concerns I should address before purchasing? I'm also considering whether building this myself is a better deal than buying a comparable prebuilt system.

On paper, this is a strong gaming-focused build and the parts are generally well matched. The 32GB DDR5-6000 kit is a sensible choice for AM5, the Phantom Spirit should be capable of cooling the processor, and an 850W Gold unit should be adequate for a 5070 Ti as long as the power supply has the proper native GPU connector. I’d verify the exact motherboard model, BIOS support, cooler clearance, and the total price of the bundle before ordering. Also make sure the monitor’s resolution and refresh rate justify spending this much on the CPU and graphics card.
The main thing I’d compare is the complete build price rather than just the bundle. A prebuilt can sometimes be only a few hundred dollars more, but building it yourself usually gives you better control over the power supply, motherboard, cooling, and appearance.
