I'm experiencing an odd mouse stuttering problem only when using KDE Plasma. I've reproduced it on recent Kubuntu and Fedora KDE installations. My laptop's built-in display runs at 120 Hz, while the connected external monitor runs at 60 Hz, and the cursor movement on the external screen feels choppy. Updating to the latest NVIDIA drivers didn't help. The same hardware works normally with Cinnamon on Linux Mint and with GNOME on Fedora and Ubuntu. Has anyone found a KDE-specific fix or workaround?

This sounds like it could be related to the two displays running at different refresh rates. KDE may be handling the 120 Hz laptop panel and 60 Hz external monitor differently from Cinnamon or GNOME. A screenshot or short recording showing the behavior, along with your display configuration, would help narrow it down.
What kind of information would be useful to share? Should I run a terminal command to show the display and graphics configuration?
