I'm looking to replace my GTX 1070 and would like to stay under roughly $400 USD. My system has a Ryzen 5 5600X, 32 GB of RAM, a Corsair 850W power supply, an ASUS STRIX B550-F Gaming WiFi II motherboard, and a Corsair 4000D Airflow case. I mainly play Overwatch, Minecraft, The Sims 4 with lots of mods, indie games, and occasionally Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V. I'm based in Denmark, so local pricing and availability may differ from US prices. I'm also open to buying used if that gives me better performance or more VRAM.

For around $400, you may find an RX 9060 or RX 9060 XT, with both 8GB and 16GB versions available. Since you’re in Europe, it’s best to compare actual Danish prices rather than converting directly from US listings.
The RX 9060 XT 16GB would probably be the strongest new option, but it may exceed your budget. I’d be cautious about paying close to $400 for a new 8GB card, since newer games can already run into VRAM limits and cause stuttering. If you’re comfortable buying used, look for cards such as an RTX 3080, RX 7700 XT, or possibly an RX 7800 XT. Availability and prices vary a lot by country.
A Radeon RX 9060 XT would be a reasonable upgrade. If you plan to keep the card for several years, the 16GB version is much more appealing than the 8GB model, although it may cost more than your budget depending on local prices.
