Is a €190 RTX 2080 Super a worthwhile upgrade from a GTX 1070?

I'm looking to upgrade my PC from a GTX 1070 to an RTX 2080 Super. Some people have told me the 2080 Super is basically equivalent to an RTX 2070, so I'm unsure whether it's worth buying. My budget is €190, and I've found a deal that fits exactly. I use my computer roughly half for gaming and half for video editing. Would this be a worthwhile upgrade at that price?

The RTX 2080 Super is faster than the RTX 2070, although both cards support DLSS. DLSS isn’t exclusive to the 2080 Super, so the main reason to choose it here is its stronger overall performance and the unusually low €190 price. Assuming the card is genuine and in good condition, it would be a major step up from your GTX 1070.

At €190, the RTX 2080 Super sounds like a very good deal, and you probably won’t find much that performs better for the same money. It should be a substantial upgrade over the GTX 1070 for both gaming and GPU-accelerated editing. Also, the 2080 Super supports DLSS, which can improve performance in compatible games.

Doesn’t the RTX 2070 support DLSS as well, though?
