I bought a new laptop that came with Windows 11 set to French. I installed English, and most of the system is now displayed in English, but parts of Settings and a few other areas still remain in French. What steps can I take to make English the complete Windows display language?

Go to Settings > Time & language > Language & region. Add English if it isn't already installed, select it as the Windows display language, and make sure English is at the top of the preferred-language list. Install any available language-pack options, then sign out or restart Windows so the changes apply.
That matches what I tried, but I’ll restart after checking that English is at the top and that the full language pack is installed.
