I bought a new laptop that came with Windows 11 set to French. I installed English, and most of the interface has changed, but parts of Settings and some other system screens are still in French. What steps can I take to make the entire Windows installation use English?

Open Settings, then go to Time & language > Language & region. Add English if it is not already installed, select it as the Windows display language, and make sure the English language pack is installed. Move English to the top of the preferred languages list, then sign out or restart Windows so the changes apply everywhere.

That worked—I followed those steps and the remaining interface areas changed after restarting.
