I bought an Acer X6E router yesterday and completed the setup, but the router app continuously reports a transfer rate of 0 bps. None of my devices can access the internet. Since this is an upgrade from my previous router, could the connection need to be activated or configured by my internet provider, or is there another fix I should try?

Since you upgraded from your previous router, first check whether your internet provider requires the new router to be activated or registered. Also confirm that the modem or incoming internet cable is connected to the router’s WAN/Internet port, then reboot both devices. If the old router works with the same cable but the X6E still shows 0 bps, the provider may need to update the equipment or connection settings.
