Is anyone else experiencing issues with Microsoft Teams this morning? Chat history is missing for many users, although newly created chats still work. On some mobile devices, chats show organization ID and UUID-style prefixes, and messages fail to load. Desktop access seems mostly functional for some users, while Microsoft's status page is still reporting normal service. We're also wondering whether this could be connected to broader Microsoft 365 authentication or application issues.

We’re seeing the same behavior: mobile chat history is missing, some conversations display UUID-like prefixes, and certain users can’t be messaged. The desktop client is mostly working, so this appears to be a service-side issue rather than an isolated phone or network problem.
There also seem to be wider Microsoft 365 problems today. Some organizations are reporting trouble with Outlook, authentication, remote desktop applications, and other services. The service status page may simply be lagging behind the actual incident, but it has reportedly started showing an advisory.
We noticed similar Teams mobile problems starting a few days ago, including missing notifications, new messages not appearing, and inconsistent chat history between mobile and desktop. Reinstalling the app helped only partially, so it may be a longer-running mobile synchronization issue rather than just this morning’s outage.
