I'm over 18 and my age is already verified in my profile, but I still can't disable Screen Time restrictions. Whenever I switch the restrictions off, they immediately turn themselves back on. This only started after a recent iOS update, and now some apps and websites I've used for years are blocked. I'm in the UK and have already uploaded an accepted form of ID, with Settings confirming that my age has been verified. What can I do to remove the restrictions?

The available age-related controls can vary by country or territory, and verification alone may not remove every restriction. In the UK, check whether your Apple Account has a payment method on file and review the Screen Time, Content & Privacy Restrictions, and Family Sharing settings. If the switch keeps reverting immediately after the update, it may be an iOS or account-sync issue rather than an age-verification problem.
