I'm planning to move from my current Ryzen 7 5800X3D platform to a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, but I'm not sure which AM5 motherboard and DDR5 memory kit would make the most sense. There are so many options that I have trouble judging the meaningful differences, so I'd appreciate recommendations with the reasoning behind them.
This PC is used exclusively for gaming, mainly Escape from Tarkov and Counter-Strike 2, which are both fairly CPU-intensive. Lately I've been experiencing frequent stuttering and severe FPS drops in Tarkov, sometimes down to around 35–40 FPS, even after reinstalling Windows, so I suspect the processor may be holding the system back.
I'm looking for reasonably priced parts that should remain a good choice for several years. My current hardware is an RTX 5070 Ti, Ryzen 7 5800X3D, MSI B450 Gaming Plus, and 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 memory.

Before upgrading, make sure the stuttering isn't coming from something else, because the 5800X3D is still a strong gaming CPU and replacing the whole platform is expensive. That said, Tarkov can benefit substantially from newer CPU performance, especially if your frame-time drops are genuinely CPU-related. Your existing AM4 cooler may work on AM5, depending on the mounting hardware, so check that before buying a new one.
For the motherboard, a solid B850 model is plenty for this gaming build. Options like the MSI B850 Tomahawk Max or Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite offer a good feature set without paying for extras you probably won't use. Pair either one with a 2x16GB DDR5-6000 kit.
I'd look for a B850 board with a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, such as the MSI Pro B850. For memory, DDR5-6000 with CL30 timings is the usual sweet spot. If CL32 is noticeably cheaper, that's also a perfectly reasonable choice—the 9800X3D is less sensitive to memory timings than many other CPUs, so you don't need to overspend.

The worst problems are in Tarkov, with sudden drops into the 35–40 FPS range. I already tried a clean Windows installation, and the issue remained, which is why I started suspecting the CPU.
