Running `sfc /scannow` from an Administrator Command Prompt is a reasonable step. If it reports repaired files, use Restart rather than just closing the command window; the repairs are applied during the reboot. If the same problems remain afterward, run the command again or try DISM, but don’t assume repaired system files are the only cause—network drivers, malware, a failing SSD, or broader hardware problems could produce these symptoms.

Before reinstalling Windows, clarify exactly what happens when something fails: whether you see an error, the program freezes, or the connection simply times out. Since the recovery tools already reported that they couldn’t repair the system, back up any important files first. If the laptop is unstable even outside Windows, the storage drive or hardware could be failing, and a repair shop may be safer than repeatedly resetting it.

A clean Windows installation is an option, but treat it as a last resort because it can erase your files and installed programs. First copy important data to an external drive if possible, then create the installer USB from another working computer and make sure the laptop is actually booting from it through the boot menu. If the USB is not detected, or the screen goes black before Windows loads, have the laptop diagnosed rather than continuing with resets.
