I upgraded my system to 64GB of Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 for work and video editing. It worked perfectly for about two days, but now the computer will not reach the BIOS when the new memory is installed. The RAM RGB lights up, the motherboard shows a solid orange indicator, and the fans run at full speed. I removed the CMOS battery and tested each new stick individually in every memory slot, but the system still refuses to POST. My original RAM works immediately in the same computer, so the rest of the system appears fine. XMP/EXPO should also be reset after clearing CMOS. Is there anything else I can try, or is the new kit probably defective?

Unfortunately, the symptoms strongly suggest the replacement kit has failed, especially because the system boots normally with the original memory and neither new stick works alone. Two modules failing at once is uncommon, but it can happen, and a defective kit can also appear stable before failing. Contact the seller or manufacturer for an exchange rather than continuing to force boot attempts.
DDR5 can sometimes become unstable after running with XMP or EXPO, but clearing CMOS should return the board to safe default memory settings. If the new kit still does not boot after a complete CMOS reset and testing one module at a time, this is unlikely to be an overclocking-profile issue. The motherboard may also need a BIOS update for that specific high-capacity kit, so check whether your old RAM can be used to update it.

XMP/EXPO is already disabled because I removed the CMOS battery, but the new memory still gives the same orange light and will not reach the BIOS.
