Hey everyone! I'm looking to build a new gaming PC solely for 1440p gaming since my old one is getting pretty outdated. I'm based in France, and I have a budget of around 2500 euros for this build. I'm set on getting an RTX 5070 Ti despite it being priced at about 1100 euros, but I've considered the 5080 too, though it's just too pricey for me at over 1500 euros. I prefer NVIDIA for the GPU because of their cool features, but I'm leaning towards an AMD CPU this time around.
The games I usually play include Civilization, Anno, Total War, and some popular titles like PUBG, Call of Duty, Rocket League, Cyberpunk 2077, and GTA.
Here's what I have in mind for my dream setup:

- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (4.7 GHz)
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Ti AERO OC 16G

- Corsair RM1000x Shift ATX Power Supply
Total estimated cost is about 2540 euros. I'm also planning to reuse my two SSDs from my old PC, but I'm unsure if I should invest in a new NVMe drive. I'd love to hear your thoughts and any advice you might have! Thanks a lot!

Whoa, 1100 euros for a 5070 Ti? That’s quite a jump. I’m from Germany and can find it for around 800-900 euros. I just picked up a 5080 for about 1150 euros, so if you’re set on NVIDIA, maybe keep shopping around because prices might vary. I think your build is solid overall! You might save a bit on the PSU since 850W is generally fine for now, unless you really want some future-proofing.
Yeah, prices in France are definitely high at the moment. I noticed a lot of the cards are out of stock, and I'm aiming for a white version too. I appreciate the suggestion!
