I'm in Ukraine and found a used Radeon RX 6800 XT for $390 with a three-month warranty. I haven't found a cheaper option that seems trustworthy. New alternatives are around $545 for an RX 9060 XT 16GB, $670 for an RX 7700 XT, and $720 for an RX 7800 XT. Is the used 6800 XT worth buying, or should I pay extra for a new card?

$390 isn’t unreasonable with a warranty, but don’t skip testing. Run a demanding game or benchmark for a while, watch GPU and hotspot temperatures, check for artifacts or crashes, and make sure the fans and outputs work properly. A short warranty is useful only if you can identify problems during that period.
The price needs to be compared with local alternatives. At the prices you listed, the new RX 9060 XT 16GB is only about $155 more and should offer newer features, lower risk, and a full warranty. The 7700 XT and 7800 XT are much more expensive, so they’re harder to justify unless you specifically need their features or performance.
That’s a fair price rather than an amazing bargain. Used RX 6800 XTs often sell around $400–$450 depending on condition, so the three-month warranty adds meaningful value. Before buying, check the seller’s reputation, inspect the card for heavy mining wear, verify that the BIOS hasn’t been modified, and test the temperatures, fans, VRAM, and stability under load.
The RX 9060 XT 16GB may be worth considering even if its raw performance is slightly lower. It’s newer, more power-efficient, and has newer features, while the 6800 XT is an older card with more uncertainty when bought used. If the price difference is manageable, the new 9060 XT offers better peace of mind.
