I'd lean toward the 16GB 5060 Ti if you're unsure how demanding your future projects will be. It provides a little more headroom for large UE5 environments, high-resolution textures, or heavy Blender scenes, and you may be able to gain some extra performance through tuning. However, the 5070 is the better pick if you know your work will stay below 12GB of VRAM.

The decision mostly comes down to price and workload. If both cards cost about the same, the RTX 5070 is generally the stronger choice and offers much better performance overall, even though it has less VRAM.

VRAM capacity matters if your projects actually exceed 12GB. The 5070 will be significantly faster as long as your scenes fit within its 12GB. If a project needs more than 12GB but stays under 16GB, the 5060 Ti may avoid crashes or slowdowns caused by running out of VRAM. For simpler assets and scenes, the 5070's extra performance is likely more valuable.

The right choice depends heavily on the content you create. Basic game assets and moderate scenes probably won't approach 12GB, making the 5070 much faster. Movie-quality Blender renders, huge Nanite environments, open-world scenes, or 8K textures are more likely to benefit from 16GB. If a render exceeds the available VRAM, performance can drop sharply or the render may fail, depending on the software.
