A power outage destroyed my current PC, so I need a high-end replacement quickly. I normally build my own systems, but I do not have the time right now and want something reliable and ready to use. This configuration from a builder I have used successfully before costs £2,899 including VAT and delivery:

- Windows 11 Home
- ASUS TUF GAMING B850-PLUS WIFI
- 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 CL30
- 16GB Gigabyte RTX 5080 Gaming OC
- 2TB PCIe M.2 SSD
Does this represent good value for a high-end prebuilt, or are there better places or configurations I should consider? I would prefer to stay below £3,000. I am also assuming the system includes an appropriate power supply, case, and CPU cooler.

That looks like a solid high-end configuration, and the price is roughly in line with what the individual parts would cost if you assembled it yourself. Since you need something quickly and have had good experiences with this builder, it seems like a reasonable purchase. Just check the exact SSD, case, CPU cooler, and power supply models before ordering, since those details can make a noticeable difference in a prebuilt.
The 9800X3D and RTX 5080 make this a very capable gaming system. The only obvious step above it would be moving to a much more expensive RTX 5090 build, which would likely push well beyond your budget. Make sure the included PSU has enough capacity and the right specification for the graphics card, and that the cooling and case airflow are adequate.
It does include the PSU, case, and cooling, but I’ll verify the exact parts and make sure they’re suitable for the 5080.
