The Windows 11 search bar is stuck showing its loading animation and never displays results. I've already tried several troubleshooting steps, but nothing has helped. Restarting Explorer didn't fix it, although creating a new Windows user account seems to make Search work. How can I repair Search on my original account without switching users?

Since Search works under a newly created Windows account, the problem is probably limited to your original profile rather than Windows itself. Try rebuilding the Search index from Settings, then restart the Windows Search service. If that doesn’t help, repairing or resetting the Search app from Installed apps may fix corrupted account data.
Open Task Manager, find Windows Explorer, right-click it, and choose Restart. This can refresh the taskbar and Search, although it may not solve account-specific problems.

I tried restarting Explorer, but the search bar is still stuck loading.
