My Bluetooth and Wi-Fi stopped working on an ASUS Prime X870-P WiFi system. Windows shows Code 43 for both devices. I tried installing the drivers manually, but the ASUS installer only opens a Command Prompt window briefly before closing. I also tried flashing the BIOS, uninstalling the generic drivers, and forcing a driver through the "Have Disk" option, but Windows still refuses to install it because of the Code 43 error. Wired networking works normally. The system uses a Ryzen 5 7600X, Radeon 9060 XT, 32 GB of DDR5 memory, and dual-boots Windows and CachyOS from separate drives. What should I check next?

Code 43 generally means the device reported a problem while initializing, so it can point to either an incompatible driver or a hardware fault. Confirming the chipset and installing the exact manufacturer-provided driver should be the first step before assuming the adapter itself has failed.
Check the hardware IDs in Device Manager first, then download the matching Wi-Fi and Bluetooth packages from the support page for your exact motherboard. This board can come with either Realtek or MediaTek wireless hardware, and installing the wrong chipset driver can produce this kind of failure. Because the system dual-boots Linux and Windows, the wireless module could potentially be left in a bad power state after switching operating systems. Try disabling Windows Fast Startup, shutting the computer down completely, unplugging it, and holding the case power button for around 30 seconds before reconnecting power and booting directly into Windows. That gives the adapter a full cold reset, although it won’t help if the wrong driver is installed.
