My two-year-old Apple Pencil disconnects from my iPad Pro 11-inch (4th generation) several times a day, even though my other Bluetooth devices stay connected. I bought a fully charged ESR Geo Digital Pencil because it supports Find My, but my iPad doesn't detect it in Bluetooth or show it under Location Services. I followed the setup instructions as best I could, but I'm clearly missing a step. The iPad is running version 26.6, not a beta. How do I properly connect the pencil and add it to Find My?

The Find My setup may not appear under Location Services or as a normal Bluetooth device. Try powering the pencil on, keeping it right next to the iPad, and adding it through the Find My app using the option to add another item. If it still doesn’t appear, restart the iPad, toggle Bluetooth off and back on, confirm the pencil is charged, and follow ESR’s reset or pairing procedure. Also double-check that the exact Geo model supports your iPad and current iPadOS version.
Thanks—I was looking in the regular Bluetooth and Location Services lists rather than starting the setup from Find My. I’ll try the pairing and reset steps again.
