I'm curious about why some people feel the need to stick with Windows in their tech setup, especially if they usually lean towards Linux or Mac. Do you find that after using Windows for a while, switching to another OS feels frustrating? Which specific applications or tools are making you keep Windows as your top choice for work?

If you're managing Windows, why not just stick with it? It can be a hassle trying to make everything work smoothly on a different OS, especially if Windows is what you need for your job.
In regulated environments, the security measures required on Windows can be a huge headache to replicate on another OS. Keeping things standardized avoids complicating security, especially with all the different tools and quirks you have to deal with. If I didn't have all these enterprise layers, I could probably get by with something much simpler, like a Chromebook!
Exactly, sometimes simpler tools can just make life easier!
It used to be about convenience, but honestly, it's becoming a bit of a hassle. Maybe it's time I consider alternatives that aren't such a pain to manage.
For me, it's all about standardization. My business relies on Windows, so I use it to keep everything consistent with my users. It's really more about their experience than my personal preference.
Most of the client machines I deal with run Windows, so it only makes sense to keep using it for some of the admin tools. On the server side, I'm all about Linux, though!
Totally get that. It must be frustrating to deal with all those quirks just to keep everything secure!
